SAYS is more than a brand. It's a family story still being written.
Tony spent decades building and leading national organizations, not just as a businessman, but as someone who understood that real success is measured in people, not margins. He was a mentor, an operator, and a father who invested the same discipline and values into his family as he did in the organizations he led.
When Evan chose medicine, Tony was there. Through every stage of the journey—the years of training, the long nights and weekends in residency, the weight of learning what it really means to care for another person—there was a father in the background, not managing the path, but holding it open.
The Journey
Evan came to medicine with an uncommon set of experiences behind him. Shaped by years as a competitive athlete and with a background as a fit model for Abercrombie & Fitch, Evan understood the relationship between how something fits and how it makes you feel long before he ever set foot in an OR.
As a board-certified OB/GYN, those instincts sharpened into something specific. Shift after shift, he wore scrubs that simply didn't meet the expectations of the medicine— fabrics that didn't breathe, fits that didn't work—scrubs that felt like an afterthought to a profession that demanded everything.
The question that led to the creation of SAYS was simple: if athletes have high-performing apparel, why don’t medical professionals?
The Company
SAYS is the answer to that question. But more than that, it's the culmination of everything that came before it.
Dr. Schrader's clinical credibility. His eye for fit, performance, and design. Tony's decades of experience building organizations that last—with the people-first values he'd carried his entire career.
When Evan had the vision, Tony helped bring it to life. Not just as a business partner, but with the experience to recognize this was worth the effort.
Together, they created SAYS to challenge what a medical uniform could be. Because that's what the people who wear scrubs deserve.
The Giving
Long before SAYS existed, the Schrader family believed in something simple: if you've been given much, you give back.
SAYS was never going to be just a product company. At the core of SAYS is the opportunity to uplift others. The foundation of The SAYS™ Fund we will do just that by supporting women's health initiatives and underserved patient communities. When you put on a pair of SAYS scrubs, you’re supporting the very communities that need it most.
What you wear says everything about how you work, how you care, and what you stand for. We built SAYS to stand for something worth wearing.
We're glad you're here.
This is the scrub you've been waiting for—built from the inside of medicine, held to the standard of the people who practice it, and made by a family that knows what it means to invest in others.
Welcome to SAYS.
